    Here is what whois says.

    Name Server: DNS1.EXPIREFLY.COM
    Name Server: DNS2.EXPIREFLY.COM
    Status: redemptionPeriod
    Updated Date: 27-apr-2007
    Creation Date: 14-mar-2006
    Expiration Date: 14-mar-2007

Does anyone know when the domain will be available?

It's not a popular domain and nobody will want it.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

The domain was registered with registerfly and expired.

The expiration protection keeps people from unwantedly registering your domain.

registerfly still keeps it in it's database for a few weeks after it expires.

Well when I go to register the domain at godaddy it will not let me.

    It says that it's taken.

If the domain name's status indeed says Redemption Period, it'll stay that way
for 30 days from the last updated date. Count 30 days from April 27.

After Redemption, it changes to Pending Delete for 5 days. Then the Registry
will release it on roughly the 6th day at 2PM EST.

Unfortunately the chances of manually re-registering a domain name are slim
to none. Better backorder it if you can afford it and if that domain name does
    mean a lot to you.

On the side, ICANN has supposedly told the Registries to indefinitely lock any
and all Registerfly-sponsored domain names pending resolution of their fiasco.
It appears this one was overlooked.
