question on linking to other sites

I have noticed a couple of my link partners have a few 'explicit' looking posts, not porn or anything offensive.

Would my family friendly sites linking to them be effected in anyway because they have explicit language/and some minor 'rude' content? Words like blow jo* etc are used...

This has became apparent to me since runing a 'bad neighbourhood' check on my site and a few of my recipricol links were flagged.

    cheers for your help.

I would remove. There isn't a clear cut answer on this stuff from the SEO stand point, but you should always put your end users interest first. Bottom line.

I think it is better to de-link those already flagged reciprocal links or at least put nofollow attributes on them. :)

    Have a nice day,

It does seems like a grey one since those page contain some rude wording but no truly offensive or porn. Those pages might not be considered as "bad neighbourhood" as you might think. Google does look on overall site content and not judge based on single content page.

You may consider to remove them off if you are afraid of linking to bad neighbourhood could harm your site ranking. However, I think you would be fine personally.
