Yes, those keywords are inside your anchor text. The SEO weight value of the text isn't as great as it would be if it matched the phrase. For example, my humor site for funny pictures uses strictly funny pictures as the anchor text when I can. I get good rankings for the phrases funny and pictures as well. I'm sure if I juiced them with their own anchor text it would increase much better. So, yes it does help you rank for that search term. No, it doesn't give as much value as it would be as a pure anchor text backlink for that phrase.
Correct. Now, how would SE decide to what keyword your site should be given better rank i.e for 'Affordable Web Site Design' or 'Web Site Design' ???? Your site will be rank better for the keyword that is getting more clicks.
agree with this, and with compare to affordable web site design , web site design is very competitive keyword and will need to get more and more link for that anchor text if you want good position in search ranking. i did work on many web design related sites. still u need to work on website design keyword rather than web site design.
