Question on Google Rankings.....

If i want to get in the Top results for a certain term, Does googles look in the meta tags in order to rank you?

Or do they look at your intro text?

For instance if i wanted to rank well for "laptop computer", how would google rank me - meta tags, content?

Many things are taken into consideration, backlinks, Title, Meta description, Keywords, text.

 

I feel this is the answer + some times the key word in your url as well.
