Hai, I would like to take the Full version of Wordtracker , but I want to know that whether wordtracker also providing the same Overture results or its giving separate results Of Google.com Yahoo.com and MSN.com when we do the keyword search ... suggest us. Waiting for reply, James.
Hello there My name is Anne Curtis and I am Customer Service Manager at Wordtracker. I hope I can help! We no longer offer the bid checking facility from within Wordtracker. The reason for this is that the Overture/Yahoo bid tool has been removed and is no longer accessible. The bid tool allowed advertisers to see how much an advertiser was bidding for a keyword. It's been removed because Yahoo has released a new ranking mechanism and as a result the previous bid checking is no longer relevant. The new ranking mechanism was put in place on February 5th 2007. The link to the bid tool was then removed on the 9th of February. With the new ranking algorithm, Yahoo will move from its long-standing and original bid-to-position model (where those who pay the most rank first) to a system that takes bids, ad quality and other factors into consideration in determining how ads are ranked on search results pages (a system similar to that long used by Google). "The introduction of geo targeting is just one reason Yahoo's View Bids tool has become irrelevant and inaccurate. What's the point of showing local bids' positions when you aren't in the location you're bidding on?" So for Wordtracker we no longer have a bid checking facility, however it does open new possibilities for the future. I hope this helps but if you have further questions please contact me at via the support centre at Wordtracker Regards Anne Curtis Customer Service Manager Wordtracker
