question on drop-down lists

    Back in April, a fellow OG user - Ray Hatch - sent in a question that we also were faced with:
    Under Broadband Config - Definable Fields #2, when under the customer menu and you click on this field you get a drop down list however what ever you put here is not saved like other fields in Optigold, is this field defined somewhere else?

    This was Shawn's reply:
    The menu is built from the Broadband numbers section under Maintenance &
    Preferences -> Broadband Assignments

    We recently upgraded to the 3.3.4 version thinking that might make a difference but it did not. We still get an empty drop-down list when the broadband field #2 is selected. The result is a lot of invalid data getting typed in by tech support. We do not see any way to specify values for the various definable fields on the Broadband Assignments screen. Does anyone have a solution to getting valid values in the drop-down list?

    The list in the Broadband 2 field is built from Maintenance & Preferences -> Broadband Assignments -> VCI / VPI Assignments. If you would to build a dynamic list based on values you have entered you can use Broadband 1, 3 or 22.

    Should Services 2 & 3 have drop down lists? I get dynamic drop down lists for Services 1 & 4 but not 2 & 3. Anyway to set drop down lists for 2 & 3?

    Yes, that is normal (there isn't a way to add a drop-down list to those fields).
