hey all just a quick one here

im looking at some campaigns i have here and for some reason i have my default set to 1.25 one of my campaigns but a few of the individual KW's are costing me less than this per click... $0.85 for example

is this because the next closest bidder is paying $0.85?

1.25 is the max your willing to pay, but hardly ever will you actually pay your max bid amount.

The price you actually pay depends on your quality score and other competitors

is there any official info on how exactly the bidding system works?

    IE

how many cents away is the next closest bidder or by how much do I have to put up on the max cost per click to be shown say... 60% of the time against the competition?

no this information is not available...

You should worry more about what you are paying and less about what others are paying. As long as ROI is met, it should not matter what the avg CPC, position or CTR is on your campaign. Primary concern is ROI first, then the numbers...
