    HI,

I have one domain registered to Yahoo and I want to transfer it to godaddy, or name.com

My question is: How I can do that?

    Thanks.

If the purpose is just to direct your domain to a new hosting provider, you should not have to transfer the registration over unless this is what you really want to do. You should only have to direct your domain to the hosting provider’s nameservers. If the provider has given you a set of nameservers to point to, you should be able to update this through the information below:
Setting Nameservers for Your Domain Names
If you do want to transfer your domain away to another registrar, you should be able to unlock the domain through the instructions outlined in the article below:
Locking and Unlocking Your Domain Names

you'll need to type your private domain key in order to transfer the domain to another registrar. moreover you may have to wait some months, too.

First unlock privacy lock with previous registrar ,get authorization code from them. Add the domains with name.com , provide authorization code and complete checkout.
You will have to approve the transfer by clicking the link in 'Administrator Email' , wait for 5 working days. If any problem occurs try to contact support system. I received a good response from name.com.
