    But I believe Google has stringent policies against Adsense now. You need to own a domain before you get to apply for an adsense account?

    John Chow and others don't just make money from blogging. It would seem that way but there are other things involved. For example, John Chow rates other sites for $500 a pop.

    Owning a domain is not stringent...makes sense since you need a domain to use Adsense. Or some blog network or whatever. Is there something else that would make it "stringent"?
