[Question] How much should I charge for this:

I own a quite new (less than 3 months old) forum based on English and and International football (soccer).

At the moment, our hits are relatively low due to a bad slip in in the SERPs, we are working on rebuilding our position and getting it higher. We are currently on page 9 for Football Forum on Google UK (slipped from page 3).

On to our hits:

In the 2.5ish months we've been open, we have had 19831 unique hits. That is the equivilant of 7932 unique hits per month.

We have a quite active community, at the moment a lot of members have exams so that has made the hits go down as well, but from around the beginning of july, it should be back to normal.

How much would you charge for advertising in the top right position on our forum, non-rotating, monthly?

Rather than asking for guesses / opinions from other people, I would instead run Google Adsense for a month to find out how much you would make with regular Adsense advertising, and then base your ad rates on that amount.

 

I already have adsense running and have made 30 dollars.

 

$30 for one ad spot? If that's what you made from the ad spot that you are advertising, then you have your answer. Charge $30 + whatever you think your time is worth to attract advertisers and set up the ads on your site.
