Question for Webhosting Companies -- Dedicated Lines

Just curious, as I know many companies like myself have considered colocations, does anyone currently have a dedicated line in their home (whether that's a DSL/T1/Bonded T1/T3 & beyond) that they currently use as their primary servers? We own 1 dedicated server, and have a few VPS another company. The primary reason why I have the dedicated server is that their datacenter is within driving distance from me (20 miles), but I have been currently looking into local ISPs that offer dedicated lines for businesses.

They are much cheaper per/month, and are becoming much affordable (right now, there's two companies offering BUSINESS DEDICATED LINES in my area that can offer 50mbit/20mbit for 100mbit/15mbit for ~$120 or less/month.) That's about equal to the price I'm paying right now for the dedicated server. Dropping a few hundred on a new server, and being able to administrate it physically, sounds even more appealing.

I am not planning to have like 10-15 servers, so amp/power should not be an issue. As well, I know both companies also have in their AUP that users may not "resell bandwidth", however, I spoke with two local managers who told me its "no problem, as long as you don't have your users getting us in trouble with illegal downloads." I also noted to them, that we do web-site consultation and design, and offer our clients web-hosting as an option, and was told simply, "as long as you don't break any laws, we won't bother you."

    Any thoughts? :)

Also, set up fees are $250-300 non-refundable... otherwise, there's no contracts. Sounds kind of too good to be true for a 100mbit line, but then again, I have to assume it will be shared by any businesses in the area on the same coaxial..
