There seems to be quite a lot of clickbank vendors on DP, so I have a quick question for you all: How do the vast majority of you go about creating landing pages? Do you use pre-made templates and edit the html, wordpress themes, or hire others to make the design and plug in the information? I ask this because I'm thinking of getting in to the vendor game, but have very little experience with HTML and am rather intimidated even when I download a pre-made template. Is there any other method that you guys use? or is it smart to just learn basic html and use a pre-made template? Thanks,
I use Drupal. It has a Clickbank IPN module that takes care of creating user accounts on product purchase, assigning the user a role with permissions to download pdf, watch video etc., revoking user permission upon refund or subscription cancellation etc... Oh and it is free http://drupal.org/project/clickbank_ipn
My website has been designed and coded from scratch You can start off with a basic .html template (clean/airy sales pages will always perform best) you need to keep that in mind. If you're willing to start learning .html go for it, however I'd recommend to hire a coder and a designer to help you with your site since it ain't just that easy. Al.
I'm getting my friend to make my website from scratch.... I think some people use extremewebgraphix.com. Looks like they have some good designs for landing pages, you might want to check them out. I don't know how much they charge though. I think they make banners and squeeze pages and stuff to.
