Are you having success promoting mmo products that have these long video sales pages? You know the ones that are like 30 mins long and all you can do is pause and not rewind or fast forward. I look at these trying to get ideas on how to promote and it's like watching paint dry. I could be looking at it from a biased perspective because I've seen so many. Do you think these help your conversions? Or do you stick to programs that have the traditional sales pages that may include some earnings screenshots? Thanks for your answers in advance.
Most of the time the author will also share some earning proofs in his videos and he would probably do that using an actual account by showing the time and get in the click-bank members area in from of the video... So I believe that is a proof more valuable than a screen shot that can be easily Photoshopped...
There is a reason "Most" of the MMO products switched to video sales letter & still often combine the traditional letter. The script written for most of these videos is worth thousands of dollars and aims to convert, but just like with any other product you will want to see the conversion rates. At the end of the day that is all that counts.
We've tried videos with no controls and with controls and in the early days of testing last year the video sales page with no controls converted better, now however, we have found the reverse! It's all about testing and also how well structured the video script is and how well you can engage with the audience long enough for you to get your message across and to get them to click on the payment link
1) People are lazy... They would rather watch a video than read a mile long sales letter. 2) Video is more interactive, with audio and visual appeals to the senses. With that said, it's still good to offer a written sales letter below the video since many people scan through the sub headlines instead of reading the whole thing (so make those count), and many people may not want to watch a video of usually undetermined length unless it is for a product or service that they are specifically seeking out (instead of just stumbling across). Hope this helps!
