I posted what I thought was a well thought out and valid question for the category I posted it in. My question was specific to Google, and posted in the Google forum. Nintendo was kind enough to reply with the answer that I had feared, and that was that.

The next minute the post was moved to "Website review". In all fairness the description for that forum does in fact say "this is the place for questions like why does this site rank so low". I don't feel that category matched my post, in fact I didn't even post my signature with the link in it....I didn't want a review...I wanted to know how long it takes....

So I get neg rep and the post moved. I don't imagine anyone will give a crap, but I feel abused.

My tip = Live with it. I had the same thing, I think DP needs to edit the bold text on the Website Review to explain a tad more. Part from that, it don't matter. You should only feel abused when I come to your house and attack you.

Well, I was the one that moved it (because you were asking for a review of the rankings of your site, not a question about Google [as a company]), but the rep wasn't from me.

Hey, there's no crying at DP!

    j/k :D

Don't worry about it. Everyone here has had a post moved at some point. And the red rep usually goes along with it.

I haven't had any moved yet - I just got red rep for bumping up old threads. I'm so ashamed.

Don't worry about your rep. I've been de-reped A LOT for doing A LOT of shameless behavior, and what does that get me?? A second GREEN bar! LOL!!! :D:D:D:D Just try to make sure you don't see a red image up there! That's when you want to panic. That's like a scarlet letter!

Nah, I've had a lot of posts moved and I'm sorry it happened. Mainly because so many members post such great info, it is hard to keep track. Even for those who read and post a lot. Like my Google Moon thread showing the real substance that the moon is made of ;)
