I've had alook through the T&C of the site and can't see anything which says you can't advertise a forum you've ust built. I've just built a site which is along the same lines as DP and want to know if I can advertise it on here or not?
Where and how are you planning on advertising? If you are helping people and having your link in your sig - that is fine.. but if spamming = advertising.. well, you will be kicked pretty fast and quite hard
I've been posting and helping where I can with questions. I was thinking of putting my link in my sig but didn't want to do so before finding out if it's allowed. The last thing I want to do is upset the powers that be and get banned.
Perhaps you should read the rules of this site or if you are still in doubt if you could advertise here or not, then ask them directly.
I did read the rules of the site and did search query as well with no luck directly to my qeustion and when the mods, admins I have found don't accept site pm's so I threw it up in here knowing at some stage one of the two will eventually find the post. From what I understand though it's not frowned upon but if I'm wrong I'm more than happy to delete it form my signature.
