Well I am on my fifth day of marketing so far, and it seems like it is taking awhile for the cash to roll in this time. I was just wondering how long it took/takes for the rest of you to start getting some money from your blog or other site projects. In addition, I was wondering if we could also start this into a sort of tip thread here. Everyone should post one tip or something they have learned that has really helped them. Mine is: START A LIST IMMEDIATELY and start making a relationship with your subscribers.

It took me about 3 months to start earning money from my webistes. It depends on so many factors. I would agree to say start a list from day one. This is the best avice. But I woud not expect anything after only 5 days of marketing. PPC can give you immediate return, but unless you know 100% what you re doing, it can become a VERY expensive little exercise.
What are your revenue sources? This is a good starting point. Do you have adsense? Are you affiliate to any programs? If your on your 5th day, well, it takes most people months to start seeing some pennies.
I use clickbank and adsense. Currently working on driving traffic to my niche site and getting people to sign up to my email list. I have made a few bucks from adsense, but no affiliate sales yet. I didn't expect sales in the first five days, but I was just curious to hear how others are doing with bum marketing and how long it took them to start seeing a return.
