Will google treat "lawn garden" the same as "lawn and garden"

Or Fire fighter the same as firefighter, or lawn care the same as lawncare?

    Just wondering.

    Thanks

The answer to this and similar questions is to ask Google. In other words try both searches and have a look at the results.

    An often debated point.

Google will recognise "firefighter" as "fire figther" in some areas such as placement in the domain. It will not do, or not do to the same extent, for IBL anchor text and usage in on-page tags. "Lawn and Garden" is trickier still as you're talking about the difference between how Google serves its search results vs. how it algorythmically determines SERP ranking.

I'd suggest that you wont find any definitive answers, like with many SEO questions, but your best source for info on questions of this nature would be www.SEOmoz.com
