Question for SEO expert about SEO analysis

    I did hire some seo expert here to do seo analysis for my site. He asked me if he can insert his tracking code or permission on access to my Google analytics account. I denied because I think it is not necessary to do some kind of that. I want to keep it private, especially for Google analytics account.

    My question to seo experts here. Is there necessary to do a tracking on your customer site? How does it help to analyze seo on my site? I'm asking this because I have a little knowledge on SEO and just want to know exactly reasons.

    I think they are asking you b'coz they want to know how many visitors come on which keywords that's help to promote your site on that keywords, look SEO can promote your site on that keywords which you gv them but if they know the traffic then they can do better its my personal opinion........

    We can not do complete analysis without site analysis. it is very important to analyze the current status of site in search engine with the use of analysis toll whether Google analytics or webalizer or awstats

    SEO can only and Only Judge by Traffic towards to that website. ok.
    And for you at the end of each and every month you need to give him analytics access.
    Because he also wants to come to know about how much the traffic you are gaining,
    It may happen, he is doing excellent work and you are getting good traffic because of him,
    Still you tell him that you are not getting good result by his work, this will make him frustreted,
    Honestly is the first key,
    You should trust him, if u think he is good at work.

    What are you talking about? I never mentioned that I got a bad works in my post. I just want to know that why he asked me to do that only. I asked because I have a little knowledge in SEO. Are you serious?? ;) Why he has to frustrate on me?

    Yeah they just want to know where you are now so they know what needs to be done to get you where you want to be. Analytics will help you and them track their progress - it's one tool you can use to help you determine their worth.

    Who wouldn't want to analyze traffic anyway?
