I see the numbers a lot of you are posting, like $200 this day, $60 that day, and I was wondering how much you spend on Adwords to get that type of result or if you are using adwords at all.

I am just starting and have seen a change in my numbers happen ever so slowly over the past month. I went from under $10 a year for one ad on one site (started adsense but got sidetracked with real life :) ) to seeing half that number in one month. I added a couple of more adsense blocks and changed a few things around to start. I am still testing but withn one move of an add I hve seen my daily numbers double in the past few days (from like .36 cents to almost a dollar)

Also, I am still reading thru all of the posts here to try to gain some more insight on what I need to do to get more traffic and more clicks on the couple of sites I am focusing on as well as I just started researching into finding a niche.

I hope one day to post that I am getting daily numbers that are half what I am seeing here, that would make me happy and let me know I am in the right path.

The people making the big bucks are quite simply those at the top of the search engines or those that run a highly popular blog with lots of repeat traffic.

So my advice would be to learn all you can about SEO and get your websites ranked highly, or focus on building a popular blog, and post daily.

I dont spend anything on Adwords... I've tried it and just lost money.. all natural, organic traffic..
Also, Adsense is not the only source of income.. i am diversified with Adsense, Kontera, CJ, ClickBank, donations, subscriptions and and few others..

I do not use adwords. I do more organic search. This is niche marketing and some other ads that are free.

One thing is to make sure you block any site with just adsense ads or clickbank ads. They pay very little. I check ads on site by looking at Url of ad and then opening url in new window. DO NOT click on ads just get url and then open with search or other ways. If site has adsense ads or clickbank i usualy block site.

One other thing the more ads on site the less you make. Not sure why but i would preffer 2 ads and maybe 1 text link. If i can get money with only 1 text link and 1 ad i preffer it.

I think useing adwords to advertise adsense sites will slowly get harder and harder. People realize that some people pay them 1/2 cent a click to get thier traffic to thier adsense sites. Would you like someone paying you 1/2 cent to get your traffic for thier adsense site.

Tearabite is right about diversified. I use adsense as extra money not main income. I make sites for products or service. If people do not want that service they might click ads and earn me some money.

This is a very good approach. I started doing this recently and though did not see any results yet, I am positive that this is the way to make money online.

I am working with CJ and going to be placing some ads on certain sites.

The main site I am working is a forum. I know forums are not as lucrative as other types, but the site is 3 years old and is a PR4 and is my oldest site.

I am considering blogs for some parked domains, but that is for after the niche research has come up with something I am confortalbe with.

If this doesn't make me money, I am going to move to ADult webcam site :)

    NOT!!!

More and more on these types of sites I'm finding that the displayed URL and the URL in the actual link are different. I block them both...any site that won't display it's true URL is not one I trust.
