I think there's a clearing period, they only pay for commissions that have passed it so your check is good
Even I have a question here -don't they charge like 10% of the total earrnings before sending chq for refunds ? do they give it back if there r no refunds ? what is the funda ?
I'm pretty sure it will cost you before your next cheque. Yes, they do hold back a buffer to minimise their risk. You don't owe CB anything but they will hold back the refund amount (minus the buffer) before your next cheque. I don't really care too much for the intracacies of how this stuff works. You should be aiming to start getting a couple or three hundred bucks in your account per week. Then this refund calculation stuff ceases to matter. These days I don't check each calculation CB make, I simply look at the rough amounts and make sure they hit my bank account!
That is a risk that CB is inquiring. To help minimize that risk, CB always hold back a percentage of your earnings. That amount is set aside for such eventualities. There are also charge backs.
