Okay, I'm making a new sports website. I want to use Joomla as my CMS, but I've got some questions.

I'm going to be making a site for every team in the league, and I want each site to be personalized to that team (see : pacers.realgm.com and spurs.realgm.com ) . Notice the differences? Could this be done in Joomla, or am I going to be paying for some custom coding?

    see spurs.realgm.com & pacers.realgm.com are subdomains

And it is possible when you define on your hosting control panel and I don't think to much for custom coding its only to select the region or the team on the template option thats it !!!

    best regards,

So, this CAN or CANNOT be done with Joomla or some other similar CMS (preferrably in Fantastico De Luxe :D)

    Thanks.

If your account has Fantastico and you have sufficient hosting for your subdomains and enough databases allocated, then yes you can install Joomla on each subdomain. There is a drop down menu on your Fantasico panel to select each subdomain.

Fantastico seems to limit installation to 3 instances of each installation, but I don't know if this is per subdomain or if that is the overall limit per account. For that you'd have to experiment or just check with your hosting provider.
