    Hey there,

I'm planning my vacation for the next summer, in July or August. I'm interested in India as a location, since I like trekking around and seeing a lot of culture and nature. However, I've read on several places that there's a rainy season in India in the summer.
I was wondering if someone could tell me how bad the rainy season is in the various parts of India? How's travelling and sightseeing in these times?
I would be very much abliged!

At some places the rainy season is sort of normal, you can travel but at certain places it would be dangerous to travel around due to heavy rain. I would suggest avoid trekking etc during rainy seasons. You can travel around the towns and cities during rainy season.
For trekking I would suggest October. It is neither too hot not too cold in October and less or no rain.
