Question for fastclick/valueclick

    Hi there
    I'm trying to apply for their service
    but they asked for 'Privacy Policy'

    what if I don't have it ?

    also if I need this one, what should I put there
    any sample that I can use

    It depends on the subject of your website I guess.

    They always ask that, because they need it to CYA. Go to anyone's site, open their Privacy Policy (at the bottom link, usually), copy it, and change their site name to yours, and toss it on your site. Then link to it from your main page. That's it. CYA.

    Not all privacy policy's are the same and just copying someone else's is copyright infringement.

    The best thing to do is to just open up about 5 different websites policys and see they way they have written theres and then write one for your own site in your own words.

    Oh give me a break. :rolleyes: EVERYONE's privacy policy is the same. Or at least 99% of those out there. The usual "third party cookies", email us with complaints, blah blah blah. Good luck trying to copyright something that derivative and completely lacking in creativity.

    Mine must be the 1% that are not the same then as I had written mine in my own words and for my site. Although, I must admit that they are all similar in that they mention about collecting stats, using cookies, etc.
