I cant understand why google doesnt show my website in the SERP, when I'm typing any one of my main keywords. I do know this - 1. some of my website pages have gray PR (not all of them, and not the HP) 2. I did a 301 redirect from the old website, and got 200 ok - so its not the problem, I think. What shuold I do, to be able to see my website in the SERP, for my keywords? If you want to help me, this is my website - www.thepsos.com Can you tell me what is the problem? few of my keywords are: 1. Security Training 2. Risk Assessment 3. Hotel Security Thank you very much
I have a question too, why do you have a link to an SEO company at the bottom of your website? Clearly this post is purely trying to drive traffic to your website???? So here is my answer "ask your friends at live SEO" If they dont know then they should not be in the industry!!!
This web site is a client of mine, and I'm looking for help here, in order to understand what should I do better to promote him. I'm sorry if that is the impression - but truely and honestly it's not. Please try to think of a reason that may be caused this situation, without even entering the website... Thank you very much
I think that wasn't his problem. He is looking for solution. BTW, you said that above are your main keywords, did you ranked before doing 301 redirect? I am little bit confused with your question. Will you clarify more?
What I mean is that if you type any keyword, in order to find the website in the SERP, you will not find him, only if you type "psos". Why? I did optimization and made sure the keywords are apearing in the web site, in the content, as links and so on. Even if I did realy bad work (and I didnt) - than the web site will apear in the SERP, for a given keyword, in page 200, or 100 - but it's like google doesnt even know my web site exists for these keywords... Do you understand? and thank you very much for your answers
Dear, i think u r doing spamming and i will advice u to get link in article directory with unique articles or get link from blog post. Finally i will recommend u to get link in content, because content is the king.
Your keywords meta tag is blank; you don't have any keywords in there. Also, your title meta tag says "Home". Is that the title of your website? I think those have a lot to do with you not finding your site. If you want to use the keywords you stated above, I suggest you put them in your title, keywords, and description meta tags of your website.
So live-seo.co.il is your company? And thepsos.com is your client? According to Yahoo! Site Explorer the site has 14 inbound links to the entire site, 12 of those to the home page which has "Home" as its <title> LOL. The phrases your are competing for are relatively competitive. Need I say more? Missing meta elements have absolutely NOTHING to do with your client's site not ranking at Google... Google like most search engines ignores meta keyword and meta description when ranking pages. Having a well optimized title element however is very important because when it's shown as the snippet it can improve click-thru-rates.
You're looking at very competitive keywords...most of the ones you have listed have at least 20 million results in Google. Its going to take a lot more then the 12 backlinks from other websites you have from a few article sites. I might be out of my place stating this, but if you're selling/offering SEO services, this should be something you know and understand. As Canonical states, Google doesn't even consider meta tags, and hasn't for years. Its your backlinks that are the primary problem. Edit: I basically stated the same stuff Canonical did....we just happened to post at the exact same time so sorry for the replication ;p
I really dont like being negative, but I just have to ask because it's nagging at me. These questions you are asking and the answers that are being posted are ALL common knowledge to those of us that really know about SEO. I also run an SEO consulting firm and have been doing SEO for many years. And all the information so far on this thread is just common knowledge amongst those of us that do SEO for a living. So how are you offering SEO services for pay,and not knowing the answers to these questions that you have asked? Please make sure you really know the industry before doing seo on someone's site, otherwise you may really cause a lot more damage than good to there site. And alot of times someones website is there Bread-N-Butter. Just my 2 cents Regards, sciborg
Hi guys, thank you very much for the answers. I do know all the things people mentioned here, and I'm a proffessional SEO. The title "home" is obviously wrong, and as I said - I just started to deal with this web site. However, so far the answers I'm getting here are raely basics, and didnt tell me any thing new. And even if my title is wrong (and know one is using meta keyword any more) I still dont think that is the reason I'm out of the SERP on google. If you think you have good idea for me, and not just simple things we all know - youare all welcome to try and solve this problem. Don't you think its got to do with the gray PR bar? one of the reasons for this can be duplicate content and I found out my client have duplicate content on few of the pages in the web site - so maybe that is the reason - google punished us? I'm looking for ideas like this one? what do you think? thank you guys!!! I appreciate it
have more link similar to your website... quality links also matters... so if a retarded website is linking you, youre most likely to go nowhere....
