Hi everyone, I am pretty new to Ezine and I was wondering if someone could clarify a few things... -On a new article that I submitted and that just went live, I have 4 views, 8 URL clicks, so a click rate of 200%. HOW is this possible? -I have two live articles in the same niche. One has a CTR of 39.9%, which I believe is excellent. Another has a CTR of 5.1%. I have gone back to look at them over and over, they are the same quality, equally interesting, etc. SAME RESOURCE BOX. The reason behind my confusion is that I don't see any major difference between the two. Could someone shed some light on this? Thanks a lot!
I've never heard of CTR over 100%, they must have clicked the link more than one time. The biggest CTR I've ever had was of 60%. You tend to get a higher CTR if you don't separate the resource box from the article. The resource box should be a continuation, or better yet a conclusion + call to action. Never ever say things like "This article was written by Smith who has been an expert in omelet making for over 20 years now...." this kind of stuff is boring like hell and you lose a lot o readers this way. Also I think that is WAY to soon for you to draw a conclusion on your CTR only after 4 views.....wait until you have over 100 in order to get a better picture.
Maybe you have two links, and all the visitors click on the two clinks. I think that is only a one-and-only event.
