Hi, I recently got into a debate with one of my clients regarding the best tool to check google rank of a specific keyword of a website. Well here comes the dilema. While the results are being determined by the global position on google.com ( ex: a german citizen can't have the same result on rank as a Usa citizen for a google.com website especially if the site is optimized on google.com.us or google.com - basicly they are the same i think )..just with usa proxy can be seen basicly the same results. ! Same debate stands even for specific markets ( ex: german citizen that has its own website on google.de - a second person from italy sees different results when googling from his proxy - so again different results...).. My point...and our debate ended to the google formula to check ranks - some of you i think its already a known formula... =Arrayformula(MATCH(1, FIND("/url?q=MY WEBSITE",importxml("http://www.google.com/search?q=KEYWORD&start=0&num=100","//h3[@class='r']/a/@href")),0)+0) You can test it on a google spreadsheet, replacing the bold red words that i put with your website and a keyword... I am 50-50 with its results, like i am with other tools for checking rank results. My client says this is the most accurate tool at the moment to check a website's Rank.. I am waiting your opinions, about this formula, if you are using it already, and its good as he says..or any other tool to check ranks ! Respectfully, Matt
