Question CJ

I was thinking to start a website using CJ , i know they provide some buttons , banners but my question is ... can i use my own button or text / message for products and keep only the affiliate link of the banner or so ?

In their Terms of Use it is prohibited to take an advertiser's link and use it for your own banner. I saw people doing it I did myself once or twice. But it is agains the terms.

Some advertisers provide nice banners. I have actually discovered that when I use advertisers' banners I sometimes do better. Other times I do not.

 

Ahh. I do it. But really posting products NOT banner on a website works best

thanks , my idea was to create text links like Purchase here for some products with my affiliate link, i think this is the best way to earn

 

I don't think that's a problem, but doing so will not track impressions... just clicks.

 

Definitely agree with depotgang about the products and not banners, takes more updating though if you are trying for specific target groups.
