Question "Banned"

    This might come off as a silly question;

    I see users who are banned but yet are showing that they are online. Whats the deal? If you are banned you can still login and :confused:
     
    If someone posts a solution, use the "Best Answer" link in their post to pick it as the best answer.

    it's a VB bug. their ban has been lifted but their status still shows as banned.

    As Devin said VB has a bug. If they are posting they have come back from their ban. If they are not posting but only show in the who's online list in dark red they are just viewing forums as a visitor. They can not access their private messages, or post.

    They can log-on any time and they will show up as being on. They just get a message saying they are banned. The bug is when you're unbanned and can post, but still show up as banned, not when they just show up as being online.
