An untapped area is question and answers websites. Well kinda untapped. Forums... article marketing... forum profiles..directory submissions.. blog comments are the usual seo people do for new and old sites. But i want to make sure you are all using question and answer websites. The reason being... - Content is relevant to the backlinks - High page rank sites - Lots of traffic - People using question and answers websites can't find their answers on google - Once your link is on the site it lasts and brings a constant flow of traffic http://www.answers.com/ PR7 http://answers.yahoo.com/ PR7 http://wiki.answers.com/ PR6 http://www.allexperts.com/ PR6 http://www.answerbag.com/ PR6 http://www.fluther.com/ PR6 http://aolanswers.com/ PR6 http://www.askpedia.com/ PR4 http://www.blurtit.com/ PR4 http://www.xoin.org PR1 These are question and answer websites i found that are general niches... So there should be something for everybody to get you all started! A good bet would be to search a question.. and see if it ranks high in google... try answer it.. and your link will be ranked high! I have got best results from blurtit and yahoo answers.
I am using Yahoo Answers for quite long time now, and I am posting technology related answers however I didnt noticed huge impact to my websites since from time to time I am leaving some of my websites as source. I will try the rest of them that you have suggested!
I'm not so sure that it will rank your website, you may earn traffic for your website, but that's all about it.
I've been using Yahoo Answers a lot. And if you also have the right social media management app that supports YA, then it's a bombshell.
Great list will need to look in to it, especially Yahoo. I used to spend time and answer questions there so I have level 2 account, which can post links, so looks like I now can use it to promote my blog/site.
Thanks for such a great sites, I am using only yahoo answers before only. But now i will use all these sites. Thanks
