Question: alivedirectory.mobi

    On of the most famous web directory is alivedirectory(dot)com. The owner registered all domain extensions (info,biz,org,net etc..) instead of .mobi

    Is this domain worth something with the mobi extension?

    How can I know if the owner of alivedirectory.com is a DP member??:confused: :confused:

    Anyway I was not talking about selling the domain, I just made a simple question.

    Running any directory off this domain is going to be seen as a "me too" gesture. You are unlikely to get misplaced traffic as .mobi is still uncommon.

    If you just want an MFA site then this domain would be good. For anything else you'd be far better to find your own domain that can stand alone.

    I would add pay attention to posts around here. Most people display either avatars or signatures referring to alivedirectory, thus with a little of common sense it's easy figure out the owner is a DP member.

    I would not take mobi firstly a courtesy matter, then to avoid misinterpetations of my real purpose, if any.

    There would be tons of domains better than an existing web directory plus mobi extension...
