    Hey there,

Can a zip code belong to more than one city?

I know there can be multiple zip codes for a city but I am wondering if the opposite is true - if a zip code can be assigned to more than one city.

I have a database of 29,470 zip codes and 29,011 cities currently. I do not yet have all US cities in my database but I think I am close.

Just wonder if anybody else has a similar database and how many city / zip code records they have?

    Sincerely,
    Travis Walters

my zip code database has over 70,000 entries.
so your nowhere being close to complete.

and each town, village and city has their own zip code.
    no duplicates.

    Hey there,

Looks like cumberland, lavale, and cresaptown maryland all have the 21502 zip.

I would have thought the US census sheet I found was complete but looks like I will do more searching, or buy a database somewhere.

    Sincerely,
    Travis Walters
