I see websites offering premium content after installing Zango. For ex, one site said you need to install zango inorder to view the videos. In reality, are the videos even really there or is it just total bs to get it installed for money?
I've only just come across Zango recently... it's not badware... but it's extremely dubious... certainly something that most customers would not want on their machine...
usually content that's available elsewhere, it's a pain in the ass, adware shit that steals commissions from webmasters - cookie stuffing / replacing crap. If I stumble across the gateway I simply use Opera browser because it glides straight through the gateway - like it never existed.
Thanks for the comments, but I would appreciate it if you answered my question. Feel free to ask me to clarify what I am asking.
Like I have said above, generally the content will be there, but it depends on the web master also - as to how honest he is, then there's also the chance that it may be zango hosted content - which is generally a thumbnail of the content, the thumbnails or zango hosted content needs the toolbar to be installed to view it, the gateway can be bypassed using Opera.
The videos are usually there and working. There are a few sites who use the zangocash popup gateway and create fake pages with fake videos to trick users into installing zango.
It really depends on the site and the webmaster, if he is looking for returning visitors (yes, there are people who install ZangoCash and still return to the site later) then it's not worth it to place fake content, because there is no point. Yes, you may attract a few more installs, because you provide competetive (and probably still unexisting) content, but once people see that it's not real, you will not get anything later...
It may be, but it requires far more effort, at least in my eyes. As it comes to ZangoCash it's more like set-and-forget (if you already have an established site which ranks good in search engines).
If a webmaster is scummy enough to use zango they can't be trusted to tell the truth. They are trying to trick you into installing spyware and you want to trust them? LOL
Hey mrgee, are you still offering to help people make money with Zango? I have 2 sites with zango on them and I am not making anything with zango.
Zango didn't do much for me other than piss off thousands of my website visitors. I used it for about 2 months, and ended up getting a whole bunch of support emails asking "how to remove the spyware". Great fun. I think I made $10...haha.
That's why I like luxecash ))) their exe starts "working" in 12 hours after installation when visitors have forgotten they visited my site
