Question about Yahoo directory listing

    If your site listed under deep category and deep hierarchy page. That page may not been cached by Google. Will your site be recognized by Googlebot about listed under Yahoo directory? Is this still give positive effect on site ranking in both Google and Yahoo? don't mention on PR since the category has no PR. :) Thank you.

    I am not sure about google not recognizing it because it is in the Yahoo Directory. I think that is a completely separate issue.

    I want to know peoples opinions about submitting to Yahoo and not to submit. I have heard conflicting issues on if it is helpful or not.

    I have a site listed in the yahoo directory, and the page were my link is gets cached every few days.

    A Yahoo Directory listing is important to the degree that it comes from an authoritative site. If your site is not restricted to a specific region, then you will get a good number of backlinks from the various regional directories Yahoo has.
