Question About Yahoo Answer

I agree on the spamming. But come on what can you do about it? nothing.

 

I found that Yahoo answers is somewhat helpful in getting traffic. At least you can create a quality backlink

 

Yes its basically a chat site but the division of yahoo, answer yahoo is quite useful. I had found number if my queries solved in minutes

I still find yahoo answers to be valuable in solving many questions I need answers to. If something is junk, just report it. However, I believe they don't take your report seriously unless you have some high ranking.

The backlinks are nice and Google is fairly quick to crawl and index Yahoo answers

Yahoo Answer is the biggest knowledge sharing website in the world. It opens to everybody, including normal people and spammers. It has a lot of good questions and answers, but also has a lot of spamming.

 

its not bad to get few traffic but Search engines give more if you know optimization.

 

You are true. All places that people can talk ans say their ideas, have some spammers. Exactly like this place that some users post repetitive threads

 

Actually, some sections of yahoo answers are really informative. It depends on which section you go to. Many people are on there who really enjoy helping others and love the challenge of answering questions too. It just depends on which section you are in. Yes, there are spammers but there are spammers in every facet of the internet.

 

You can almost tell by reading the question tht there is going to be a spam answer, you know what I mean? Also, one of my LEGITIMATE questions was removed as spam. I asked a question pertaining to a certain payment system and the question was removed and I was notified about this being spam. I was NOT spamming, somebody took it the wrong way. =( Oh well, that was a few years ago, much has changed since then.

 

Well, its upon you how you use it. But I see people asking even stupid questions.
But some time when you search for something you get the answer in yahoo only.

 

because Yahoo answer has less restrictions compare to Digital point ... here you will find only help full threads while in Yahoo answers, 50% answers are just with chilling effect.....that is the wastage of time......

 

Yahoo answers is very like youtube comments. Full of trolls and a waste of time.

 

I did couple of times found a good answers for some issues that I had and it was fun to answer all of that questions. Too bad that you are limited with your daily anwers.
