Dunno how to quite word this question, or where to put it. Up until now, I would always use blogs instead of website. But I am beginning to explore the uses of regular websites (Or static webpages or whatever), and I am a bit lost. I was browsing the web, and I saw a web page that I sort of liked: http://howtogetfreemicrosoftpoints.com/ I want to achieve a sort of look and function like that, can anyone point me in the right direction?
I would recomment getting a wordpress sandbox template and converting the template over. It's actually pretty easy once you get the hang of wordpress theme structure. Static sites are not worth the time and energy if you ever need to update. Search Google for "Wordpress Whiteboard Theme" and you'll find a great blank template. You only have to attach a stylesheet,wrap everything in DIVs, and you're done. If you have a template that you want converted over to WP, I can do it for you as well. I would recommend learning it on your own, but either way...
