Question about Web Traffic...

    Hi all..

One of my websites has a page rank of 2.. but my Google analytics says it has a monthly unique visitorship of about 300 pax.

But I think other websites with a page rank of 2 seems to have a highly monthly traffic than mine.. for e.g. a daily traffic of 300 instead of a monthly traffic of 300.

My question to all the experts here is: does this makes sense? Am I seeing something wrong in my Analytics? Or page rank does not equal to web traffic?

    Thanks.

Yea, you are right. Page rank does not equal to web traffic.

The pagerank is an indicator of the backlinks and of the quality of these backlinks. It has no relation with the number of visitors. A high pagerank domain should bring you higher traffic from search engines, but this also depends on your keyword popularity, content quality, in-site seo optimization and many other things.
