Here is my situation. Its about a problem that I might run into with SEO in the future. I am currently using gatorhost to develop a video game review site. The site will be using their Vhosting services (Baby Plan).

I do plan on moving to a more dedicated server in the future. However for now that move does not make sense. My site is on one server with hundreds (maybe thousands) of other sites. Will google bot penalise me for the actions that other users may take who are also useing this service?

If so will my future change to a more dedicated host be noticed by googlebot? Of course this scenario also applies to yahoo and other SE.

For my experience, dedicated host doesn't help anything to SEO. Although some other people said it's good for SEO few years ago. When I tried it 2 years ago for a few sites. It's doesn't work for me.
