After reading Norbs thread I decided to versify my marketing technique. I'm currently doing article marketing, but now I'm interested in youtube marketing however as a noob I have a few question here; 1. How to insert your link at the description box? I tried normal html but it did not work. 2. What is the best way to present your video description to encourage people to click on the link? Or i just put my link there? I've seen some people put an arrow in their video pointing to the link at the info box do you think its a good idea? 3. Does anybody here have any tricks on how to increase views? I know some technique that i read somewhere on the internet about putting sexy picture in the video and using misleading title (like sexy girl yada yada) to increase views but I'm not going to do that because the product that I'm promoting does not involve that stuff. Is there any other trick? If you have any ideas or tricks please share so that this community would benefit from it. Thanks!
1) You need to put your link without anchor text, just the http://website.com version with no HTML tags. 2) I put a link at the end of my video pointing to exactly the same page. I get some traffic from YouTube, but not something fancy. 3) You can increase views with a good title and a good middle frame. Make sure the exact middle of the video has a nice, attractive pictures (yes, girls always work ). Find a good keyword title which will also attract search engines. Good luck! nadavs
the screen shot taken every quarter of the time lenght exactly, i calculated it before.so, if you have made 1 minute video the screen will be 15, 30, 45 seconds exactly . you may add also money pictures , gold or something interesting to your niche.
Thanks but i saw a lot of videos with live links here's an example (not mine and im not watching that, just a random search ): http://youtube.com/watch?v=or3zUKiJb50 http://youtube.com/watch?v=nh2UlVg8mIY
Yes place that link exactly like you have it there and it will show up as a live link in the 'more info' part of your video details.
Hey dude can I suggest that if you are promoting your website via video that you use other video sharing networks and not that just of youtube. I have found through more testing that if you list with at least 10 video sharing websites other sharing sites pick your video up which means increased viewing possiblities.
Try CustomerReviewVideos.com...they just started up in January, but they are blowing up! I have had great success with them
I've got some good search engine rankings submitting to Daily Motion - http://www.DailyMotion.com I actually really like that site because the audio quality is so much higher...
