Question about Vectorizing text

I am working in Adobe Photoshop, and a client needs me to vectorize some text. How can it be done with text effects/different fonts ?

For example, the text font looks like a rope, but I do not want to have to transfer all the strokes to a vector. Is there a simple way to do this such as a layer mask... etc?

Thank you for any help you can give
