Question About vbb Forums

I am currently running vBulletin version 3.7.2 Patch Level 1.

Vbb offers newer versions such as this Forum ( Pinnacle Point )..... So was wondering if it's worth upgrading to vbb's newest Forum software? I've hard newer version models vbb are complicated and one must re-learn CP, etc.
