Question about using micro niche finder

Could some one tell how many searches I should be looking for when using micro niche finder? In other words if I have a keyword that is searched 300 on global, but has a competition of only 20 and the arrow is green is that enough searches? Or should I stay in the higher search numbers?

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

According to the advice of James Jones, the guy who created and publishes Micro Niche Finder, you should probably focus on a global search of 1,000 or more.

Now, that certainly isn't a hard-and-fast rule, and there might be certain keywords you're looking at that have only 300 global searches but are keywords that have very high commercial intent. In other words, there might be only 300 searches, but most of those people using those specific keywords are actually ready to buy. If that is the case, it might be worth utilizing a keyword that only has 300 searches.

So, you have to ask yourself: "When someone types in these keywords, are they looking to buy, or are they just doing research and looking for free information"?

    Hope that helps.
