I own a forum/social networking website and i plan on placing ads on the users private message section/ when reading messages/ their contacts pages. Is this possible considering these pages are accessed through a login? Does anyone have any experience with this?

yesyou can, but ads will be only loosely targeted since adsense bot cant see the pages, but its ok.

Thanks for the response! If that's the case, then I am assuming the ads will still be heavily influenced by the other advertisements that are targeted throughout the website. Sounds good to me!

The adsense script still manages to pull keywords from your login-protected pages somehow, particularly the title. I'm not sure how it does it. I have an ad block on a site that I haven't filtered off some of my admin pages and I get adverts in there for php, hosting, that kind of stuff that has nothing to do with the site content but lots to do with being an admin.

So as long as I filter the login-protected pages I shouldn't have anything to worry about?
