Question about unauthorized affiliate marketer using my site

My wife joined HSR, a homestaging website. Part of the package is that they will host her website using one of the many templates they use to create it. I have noticed that they have put in links on our home page that links to other websites. I believe it is affiliate marketing. My question is: Do we have any recourse when someone else is making money off of our website? The DNS is serviced by GoDaddy.

    Any help would be appreciated.

It will depend on a few factors, such as,

    - is the hosting account a free one, many free hosting sites add their own ads and this is why they are not recommended if you re running a commercial site.

    - What does it say in the terms of service about placing third party ads on your site?

it could be templates link/footer sponsors so in that case u need to retain links or u can approach template designer to remove footer link with some fee

Did they specifically deny putting in those links in their TOS. What are you paying for the said website? And why do you need a template driven website?

I'd prefer you answer these questions first.

Also, none of us would be of any help really, without actually seeing the website.
