Does anyone know if there's a limited time before the domain rewnew to transfer the domain to godaddy. (my domains renew in 6 days!)

I try to transfer my domain to my namecheap.com account but it's say that my domain is renew in 6 days and I can't transfer my domain.

I really have to get rid of Ipower which now holding my domains.

I can't try since I don't have an godaddy account...

    thanks!

I did a push ( transfer from one GD account to another ) with only a few days left.

A transfer to another registar take more time than that usually.

Pushing from one account to another is different from a registrar transfer since the domain is only moved to a different account under Godaddy which means that registrar remains the same, unchanged. No restrictions at all to that type of action as far as I'm aware of.

    thanks for your suggestion,
If NameCheap support can't give me a solution I'll try to transfer my domains over to godaddy with only 5 days left :(

Just make sure that the transfer is completed before the 5 days is up or else your domain name may be trapped in limbo when it expires during the transfer. 30 to 60 days should be the safer margin to work with.
