Ok I don't run a proxy site or anything, but I've been noticing in my daily surfing that many proxy sites are putting up a disclaimer or TOS. Most are saying you have to agree to the TOS before surfing. I understand that they're trying to avoid preventable cases of cached copies of inappropriate sites or abuse, but it's not just a few sites that are doing it, it's a whole whack. Did something happen recently forcing them to do this? It's just my curiosity that wonders why all of a sudden all these proxy sites that didn't care about this sort of thing suddenly took notice of the legal quagmires that they're site could get them into.
