    Friend,

    I am going to start a new site for "dog leash", i used overture keyword finder tool and find these other keywords also.

    dog leash
    leash training dog
    retractable dog leash
    leather dog leash

    So if I use the title as "retractable leather dog training leash" i get benefit or ban??

    Please guide me.

    You'd be better of creating separate pages for the different targeted phrases, you probably wouldn't get a ban for doing what you suggest but you wouldn't benefit either.

    DCT has a point. If you are specifically trying to promote "retractable leather dog training leash" then great. If you are trying to "cover all the bases" then, you would be better off breaking it up into seperate pages with seperate content including title tags.

    Don't make the mistake of placing the same title tag on all of your site's pages. IMHO. :)

    Keyword optimization is a whole lot more than just title tags. There are many other things to consider for optimization (both on-page and off) including: meta tags, header tags, emphasis tags (ex: bold, italics, emphasized, etc.), alt tags for pictures and then the remainder of the content!

    Then off site, you need to get inbound links pointing to your site with the specific keyword phrases you want promoted on each individual page. And then, and then...

    There is a ton of useful info on this forum but, you will need to perform a considerable amount of research to get the real answers you want. If it was easier than that, this forum probably wouldn't have nearly the number of people and entries that it does! :)

    keyword = 1 word
    keyword phrase = more than one word

    Leash= keyword
    dog leash= keyword phrase

    A keyword is a single word while a keyword phrase is a string of words. A keyword phrase may be encapsulated with quotes as well as without. Understand, search engines can give (and often do give) entirely different results when you search for a single word like "SEO" versus "SEO Promotion" (each without the quotes). :)

    thanks friends for this quick reply, shall i ask you one more question, what is the difference and use of keyword and keyword phrase. Shall can i use the keyword phrase as title and place the keyword phrase in the paragraph starting.

    Before some days i read this, first paragraph and last paragraph of your site must be well optimized, because SE give more weight. Is it true??

    No probs, your questions were not silly, everybody starts somewhere and I think North Carolina SEO did a pretty good job of answering.

    Yes target keyword phrase instead of keyword. As keyword phrase reduce the competetion and includes keywords + Phrase.
