So I have a question that I feel would be a lot better to ask and get opinions and answers about rather than jump into. It's a question about the legality of pre-releasing content that I do not own. For instance, there are many video game/movie/software fansites out there, and leaks DO come through the internet. Is it safe to post leaked content if I did not retrieve it personally, but instead found it? I know this is a very touchy subject, but I am wondering if I will get much trouble if I am in fact to post up leaked content. I see leaked video game screen shots and movie trailers quite often, but to what extent would be the legal threatening (or even worse, action taken against me)? Thank you!
