Question about the righ to edit WORDPRESS

    Hello guys, i didnt know where to post it but i need fast help.
    If i want to base on WORDPRESS and actualy change it.

    Would WORDPRESS care about it? Should i put any copyright for wordpress team?

    Wordpress is based on GPL license, which means that you are free to change and modify wordpress in any way you want to. Wordpress will not care if you remove the copyright and give your full branding to the website. Thats what called as open source.
