Question about the BST section of digitalpoint

    It depends on how you sort threads. Maybe you want to sort threads by last post date?

    That's funny, the BST section default setting is sort thread by created date.

    The other's default is by last post.

    Why do you have this different?

    No, the default is by thread creation time and there is only one default. I'm not sure why digitalpoint replied that way.

    No, the default for BST is thread start date.

    The default sort order is something you are able to set yourself. If you prefer a different default sort order, you can set it in your settings.

    Don't you get it.

    Only the recently started thread will get seen by users.
    (the majority of them anyway because few actually change the default settings.

    This will encourage people creating multiple thread selling the same thing ---> spam.

    I have already seen one guy open over 7 threads offering the same service.

    Really, you don't care about your own forum?

    Just use the "Report Post" option and they will be dealt with accordingly.

    They do deal with reports about spam but the queue of spam reports is so damn long.
