I am thinking about joining text broker. I am wondering what kind of topics are available on textbroker to write about. What kind of content for examples are writers looking for? Would anyone that have experience with textbroker share any ideas and/or advice with me? Thank you in advance; I really appreciate it. -Also what kind of topic should I write about for a sample piece? Would it be a good idea to write about a health topic? Thanks
Textbroker will tell you what subject to write about for your writing sample. As far as topics available, imagine the categories in an article directory, it's sort of like that. You can pick and choose what articles to write, as long as it's within your rating. They rate you a 2, 3, 4, or 5 star writer. After my sample, I was a 3 star. Then, after my first assignment, they changed my rating to a 4. Your pay is based on what star rating you are. I would say Textbroker is a good company, but I get frustrated by confusing or conflicting instructions by clients. Before you accept an article, you can look at the assignment with instructions. I would stay away from assignments with clients that leave confusing instructions, appear overly demanding, or articles that may require a lot of research. If you can write about the subject without doing that much research, it's obviously much easier. It would be difficult to earn a full-time income there, but they are a nice back up.
